In January-June Azovstal Iron and Steel Works (Mariupol, Donetsk region), a part of the Metinvest group, produced 1.736 million tons of rolled metal, down by 17.3% YoY.
According to a company representative, the works produced 10.6% less steel (2.04 million tons) and 8.7% less pig iron (1.79 million tons).
Sinter was not produced at all due to the sinter shop shut down.
In June Azovstal produced 303 thousand tons of rolled metal, 342 thousand tons of steel and 292 thousand tons of pig iron.
In July the works plans to manufacture 264 thousand tons of steel and 245 thousand tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
