Interpipe to increase steel pipe output by 16.5% in 2011

Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe plans to increase its steel pipe production in the current year by 16.5% YoY to 990,000 tons.
In particular, the company will produce around 750,000 tons of seamless pipes and 240,000 tons of welded pipes, up by 15.4% and 20% respectively compared to 2010.
Also, in 2011 Interpipe intends to increase production of railway wheels by 18.8% YoY to 190,000 tons.
In 2012 Interpipe expects to see a 15% YoY rise in its steel pipe output to 1.14 million tons.
The full capacity of 1.32 million tons per year of steelmaking complex Dneprostal, a subsidiary of Interpipe, is expected to be reached in 2014. The complex expects to produce 700,000 tons of steel in 2012 and 1.2 million tons in 2013. (SteelOrbis)
