According to the data issued by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in January to February Ukraine’s metallurgical sector registered an aggregate loss of UAH 1.11 billion compared to the aggregate loss of about UAH 2.437 billion in January to February 2010.
In the January to February period of the current year, 52% of all Ukrainian metallurgical companies posted a combined profit of about UAH 982 million while the remaining 48% of companies registered a combined loss of UAH 2.092 billion. (SteelOrbis)
