Zaporizhstal sees a 1% rise in 11 months crude steel output

It is reported that in January to November Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal’s finished steel product output increased by 1.2% to 2.55 million tons and its crude steel production rose by 1% to 3.05 million tons, both compared to January to November 2009.
In the first 11 months of this year the plant saw a 0.2% YoY drop in its pig iron output to about 2.51 million tons, but a 0.3% YoY increase in its agglomerate production to 4.42 million tons.
In November Zaporizhstal produced 254,000 tons of finished steel products, up by 0.8% MoM, 309,000 tons of crude steel, down by 2.2%, 239,000 tons of pig iron, down by 1.2% MoM, and 419,000 tons of agglomerate, up by 1% MoM. (SteelOrbis)
