It is reported that in January to October Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal’s finished steel product output increased by 0.5% YoY to 2.297 million tons, while its crude steel production rose by 0.4% YoY to 2.742 million tons.
In the first ten months of the year, the works saw a 0.2% YoY drop in its pig iron output to 2.27 million tons and a 0.3% YoY decrease in its agglomerate production to about 4 million tons.
In October Zaporizhstal produced 252,000 tons of finished steel products, up by 1.2% MoM, 316,000 tons of crude steel, up by 9%, 242,000 tons of pig iron, up by 7.6% MoM and 415,000 tons of agglomerate, up by 1.2% MoM. (SteelOrbis)
