Ukrainian pipe companies in January to July increased ferrous metal pipe output by 1.7% YoY to 913,800 tons.
The Dnipropetrovsk-based Ukrtruboprom association said in July 137,900 tons of pipes were produced.
Ukrtruboprom said that in January to July pipe production at Khartsyzsk Pipe Works plunged.
The association said that Russia cancelled import duties on steel pipes made by Interpipe which slightly improved the situation with their sales.
Market players said that in July the prices of pipes continued growing, which affected their sales. (Interfax-Ukraine)
