It is reported that in June Ukrainian ferroalloy exports went down by 7.8% MoM to 76,240 tons compared to May. However, on YoY basis the figure constituted an increase of 21.9%. The value of ferroalloy export sales in June was down by 7.1% MoM compared to May declining to $90.64 million.
Specifically, in June Ukraine ferrosilicomanganese exports decreased by 18.3% MoM to 47,610 tons, its ferromanganese exports went up by 1.5% to 9,680 tons while its ferrosilicon exports increased by 30.5% MoM to 7,650 tons.
In H1 2010, Ukraine’s exports of ferroalloys increased by 2.4 times to 589,330 tons as compared to the same period last year. (SteelOrbis)
