Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant (DEMZ) has announced that in April this year it has increased its steel smelting volume by 6.4 times compared to March to 61,000 tons which is also 2.5 times higher compared to the same period last year.
Accordingly, in April this year DEMZ exceeded its original production target for the month in question which was 50,000 tons of crude steel and plans to start operating at full capacity in May and to smelt more than 90,000 tons of steel. (SteelOrbis)
