President Ilham Aliyev amended the decree on improving subsoil use, transferring several deposits to AzerGold.
The head of state signed a new decree amending the document “On improving activities in the field of subsoil use (except for the oil and gas sector) and amending certain decrees and orders of the President.”
According to the amendments, in order to improve the efficiency of non-metallic mineral deposit development and meet market demand, several subsoil areas have been transferred to AzerGold.
The deposits in question are the Garadagh I and II limestone deposits in the Garadagh district of Baku, the Gyuzdek trench in the Garadagh and Absheron districts, as well as sand and gravel and other deposits: Katekhchay I and II (Zagatala district), Balakenchay I and II (Balaken district), Agchay I (Oguz district), and Imishli (Imishli district).
The transferred subsoil plots were identified by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. (Report)
