Kyrgyzstan: antimony reserves amount 16,758 tons

Antimony reserves at the North Aktash deposit totaled 16,758 tons at the beginning of 2025, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Subsoil Use Alisher Kurmanaliev announced at the “Dialogue on the Extractive Industry: Investment, Transparency, Development” forum.

According to him, the North Aktash deposit is located 3-4 kilometers from Kadamzhay in the Batken region. In addition to antimony, significant fluorspar reserves approximately 655,000 tons have also been discovered at the site.

Kurmanaliev noted that North Aktash was among the promising sites for industrial development and is being considered as part of the ongoing Critical Minerals Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at effectively integrating strategically important resources into the country’s economic turnover.
