ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has agreed with the claim of the State Environmental Inspection as to the violations that have resulted in air pollution and has paid a fine of more than 10 million UAH.
The total amount was 10.19 million UAH. All the money has already been transferred to the budget.
18 types of violations were registered during the inspection of by-product coke manufacture, with various times given to remedy the situation. The maximum term was 5 months.
The inspection followed an accident at the plant in June. (Ukrainian metal)
