In January-July, Ukraine exported 1.11 million tons of semi-finished steel products, up by 68.1% YoY.
According to the State Customs Service, in July exports amounted to 219.3 thousand tons, up by 83.1% MoM and by 100.7% YoY. This was the largest result since January, when 222.22 thousand tons were exported.
Average monthly exports this year amount to 158.2 thousand tons as compared to 94.1 thousand tons in January-July 2023.
The main customers were Bulgaria (377.04 thousand tons over 7 months and 69 thousand tons in July), Poland (101.6 thousand tons and 4.64 thousand tons respectively), Italy (84.02 thousand tons and 9.9 thousand tons) and Egypt (148.59 thousand tons and 82.37 thousand tons). (Ukrainian metal)
