In January-July, Ukraine decreased pig iron exports by 26.1%, to 669.982 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports decreased by 26.8%, to $253.918 million.
The main customer was the USA (66.61% in monetary terms), followed by Turkiye (10.29%) and Italy (8.95%).
Over 7 months, Ukraine imported 15 tons of pig iron for $37 thousand from Germany, as opposed to 37 tons for $52 thousand last year. (Ukrainian metal)
