In July, Ukraine increased rolled metal output by 3% MoM, to 588.6 thousand tons.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, steel manufacture decreased by 3.5%, to 708.9 thousand tons, and pig iron by 1.1%, to 621.4 thousand tons.
Compared with July 2023, rolled metal production increased by 11.4%, steel – by 17.9% and pig iron by 15.5%.
In January-July, Ukraine produced 37.3 million tons of rolled metal, 4.58 million tons of steel and 4.09 million tons of pig iron, up by 28.4%, 33.6% and 21.2% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
