In January-June, Ukraine exported 888.016 thousand tons of semi-finished carbon steel products, up by 61.6% YoY.
According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports increased by 47.3%, to $439.9 million.
The main customers were Bulgaria (35.49% in monetary terms), Poland (11.74%) and Italy (8.56%).
In January-June, Ukraine imported 5 tons of semis valued at $5 thousand from Egypt, while last year – 72 tons for $133 thousand from China. (Ukrainian metal)
