In January-June, Ukraine exported 598.92 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 25.1% YoY.
According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports dropped by 26.9%, to $226.01 million.
The main customers were the USA (74.84% in monetary terms), followed by Italy (6.31%) and Poland (5.44%).
In January-June, Ukraine imported 15 tons of pig iron for $35 thousand from Germany, while last year – 37 tons for $52 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
