In January-May, Ukraine decreased pig iron exports by 19.6% YoY, to 507.106 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, revenue dropped by 22.3%, to $189.6 million.
The main export market was USA (78.55% in monetary terms), followed by Italy (6.49%) and Poland (5.77%).
Over 5 months, Ukraine imported 15 tons of pig iron valued ay $35 thousand from Germany (no imports in January, March and May), while last year imports amounted to 37 tons for $52 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
