Kazakhstan: Kazatomprom to extract uranium at Inkai deposit

Kazatomprom has signed a new contract on subsoil use, which presupposes uranium extraction at the site No. 3 of the Inkai deposit.

The contract was concluded in June as a result of direct negotiations with the Ministry of Energy.

Within 4 years, 701 tons of uranium will be extracted.

Inkai is one of key uranium deposits in Kazakhstan.

Reserves of the site No. 3 are estimated at 83.1 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
