Almalyk Mining and Processing Works is efficiently implementing a localization program.
In January-May, 251 projects made products worth 704.9 billion soums, up by 3.5% from the target.
Compared with last year, output grew 4-fold, and import-replacement efficiency reached $56.1 million.
New projects yielded localized products valued at 570.5 billion soums.
In particular, central repair and mechanical plants carried out 105 projects yielding 35.1 billion soums worth of products, scientific and research enterprises on rare metals and solid alloys – 31 projects (54 billion soums) and copper-smelting plant – 10.4 billion soums.
Metal structures valued at 368.8 billion soums were produced for the construction of the copper-processing factory No. 3 and 89 billion soums worth of explosives.
Export of localized products amounted to $1.46 billion. (Ukrainian metal)
