In January-March, Kametstal decreased metallurgical coke manufacture by 35% YoY, to 68 thousand tons.
In Q4 2023, output amounted to 79 thousand tons.
The decrease is due to the shut down of some coke units of the coke-oven battery No. 1.
Zaporizhkoks increased coke output by 1%, to 215 thousand tons.
At the same time, Metinvest Pokrovskvuhillya decreased coking coal concentrate production by 9% YoY and by 6% QoQ, to 640 thousand tons due to the worsening of coal quality and drop in output. (Ukrainian metal)
