In January-April, Ukraine increased iron ore raw materials exports 2.1-fold YoY, to 11.028 million tons.
According to the State Customs Service, revenue grew 4.1-fold, to $2.409 billion.
In Q1, exports amounted to 9.004 million tons valued at $863.315 million.
The main customer was China (43.03% in monetary terms), followed by Slovakia (16.29%) and Poland (13.67%).
Over 4 months, Ukraine imported 252 tons of iron ore raw materials for $72 thousand, up from 67 tons valued at $41 thousand last year. The main suppliers were the Netherlands (29.17%), Italy (25%) and Norway (18.06%). (Ukrainian metal)
