In January-April, Ukraine decreased pig iron exports by 21.7% YoY, to 417.941 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, revenue dropped by 23.7%, to $155.039 million.
The main customer was the USA (76.91% in monetary terms), followed by Italy (7.94%) and Poland (5.29%).
Over the 4 months, Ukraine imported 15 tons of pig iron valued at $35 thousand from Germany (there were no imports in January-March), while in January-April 2023, 32 tons for $42 thousand were imported. (Ukrainian metal)
