Since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion, each sixth Metinvest employee, or 15% of all the staff, has been mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
So far, around 1.5 thousand employees have returned form the war, and more than 500 have resumed work.
The group expects that 6-7 thousand employees will return to work from 8 thousand that have been mobilized. Metinvest counts on veterans – 4 thousand jobs have been created mostly for men in metallurgy and mining. (Ukrainian metal)
