In 2023, Ukraine decreased pipes exports by 11.8% YoY, to 356.35 thousand tons valued at $587.11 million, down by 15%.
According to the State Customs Service, in December 2023, pipe exports totaled 22.86 thousand tons, down by 18.6% MoM and by 10.8% YoY. Revenue dropped by 18.9% and by 31.7% respectively, to $31.52 million.
In particular, Ukraine exported 281.25 thousand tons of seamless pipes, tubes and hollow sections valued at $524.58 million, with 18.25 thousand tons (-5.7% MoM) for $27.98 million (-11.1%) in December 2023.
Ukraine also exported 73.27 thousand tons of other pipes, tubes and ferrous sections for $61.03 million, in particular, 4.61 thousand tons (-46.4%) for $3.54 million (-51.5%) in December 2023.
The main customers were Germany, USA, Romania and Poland. (Ukrainian metal)
