Turkish company Liepaja Steel decided not to resume metal manufacture in Liepaja.
2 years ago, the company bought the electric arc furnace of the bankrupt Liepājas metalurgs, but was unable to resume manufacture due to disagreements with the Liepaja city council and the Special Economic Zone authorities.
Now the company intends to relocate the furnace to Turkey in order not to pay for land rent anymore. (Ukrainian metal)
