Uzmetkombinat and Tropidia Holding B.V. have created Pro Farro LLC.
Its main tasks are to process liquid slurry and metallurgical waste and produce construction materials for cement industry.
The enterprise will be launched this year. Uzmetkombinat investments in the construction and equipment will amount to $3 million.
Slurry processing will reach 100% and metal waste extraction will grow 4-fold, to 29 thousand tons per year.
Processed stabilized slurry will be used in road construction, as raw materials for binding flux manufacture in steel production and active additives in cement production. (Ukrainian metal)
