In January, Ukraine exported 29.54 thousand tons of flat rolled metal, down by 33.9% MoM and by 94.2% YoY.
According to the State Customs Service, revenue dropped by 35.2% MoM and by 95.5% YoY, to $19.4 million.
Exports of rolled metal without coating amounted to 20.2 thousand tons valued at $12.74 million, down by 36.4% and by 37.2% respectively. Exports of flat cold-rolled uncoated metal totaled 8.16 thousand tons (-16.4%) valued at $4.56 million (-28.3%).
Ukraine also exported 1.21 thousand tons of flat plated or galvanized metal (-61.7%) valued at $2.06 million (-35.6%).
The largest customers of flat hot-rolled metal without coating were Poland (42.03%) and Bulgaria (35.17%). Iraq (26.95%) and Poland (26.19%) bought more than 55% of flat cold-rolled metal without coating, while the main buyers of coated metal were Romania (56.62%) and Poland (41.64%). (Ukrainian metal)
