ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has refuted information spread by the ministry of defence of Russia.
“In its Telegram-channel and video address the Russian ministry of defence commented on the recent missile attack on the city of Kriviy Rih and spread untrue information about an alleged strike on “the missile and artillery stock in an AMKR shop”. This does not correspond to reality. Except for the fact of the Russian attack on the Kriviy Rih mining and metallurgical enterprise on December 5, the Russian information is false. AMKR is a part of the ArcelorMittal Group, a mining and metallurgical enterprise, the metal products of which are used purely in peaceful construction. The company categorically refutes the placing of any stocks with armaments on its territory – either missiles or launchers. As a result of the cruel attack, our employee perished and three were wounded. We protest against shelling of peaceful premises and killing of Ukrainians,” AMKR said. (Ukrainian metal)
