Ukrmetallurgprom will suspend its membership in the Worldsteel Association until Russia is removed from it.
In his letter to the association, the enterprise president Oleksandr Kalenkov said, that the war, which in Russia was cynically called “special operation”, had been going on for over a month now. Since its start, the Russian troops have demonstrated the worst sides of behavior, destroying houses, hospitals, schools and kindergartens and killing thousands of innocents.
“Ukrainian metallurgists hoped that Worldsteel, as the largest and most respected global metal community, would follow the example of other organizations and suspend the membership of Russian companies, yet, unfortunately, the representatives of the aggressor country still take part in its events,” he wrote.
Thus, Ukrmetallurgprom suspends its membership in Worldsteel until Russian companies are removed. (Ukrainian metal)
