Ukraine has lost about 30-40% of its metal capacities because of the war with Russia.
“Mariupol plants constitute more than a third of the Ukrainian steel manufacture. Thus, so far Ukraine has lost about 30-40% of its metallurgical capacities,” Metinvest CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov has said.
He claims that Mariupol plants will be rebuilt after the Russian occupiers are wiped out of Ukraine.
“I have no doubt that their operation will be resumed, but for this the city must be under Ukrainian control,” he added. (Ukrainian metal)
