In January, Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased rolled metal manufacture by 9.6% YoY, to 390 thousand tons.
Steel output rose by 5.3%, to 380 thousand tons, and pig iron – by 0.9%, to 360 thousand tons.
Compared with December 2021, the company increased rolled metal production by 14.7% and steel – by 5.5%, but decreased that of pig iron by 14.3%. (Ukrainian metal)
