In January-September, Silver Bear Resources, developing silver deposits in Yakutia, produced 806.8 thousand ounces, down by 46.3% YoY.

The decrease is due to the drop in output (-30.1%) and processing of ore (-37.6%).

In particular, in Q2 the company special machinery was mostly used to expand the Vertikalniy quarry.

Moreover, silver content in ore fell to 601 g per ton from 677 g per ton last year.

Extraction decreased from 86.5% to 83.5%.

Silver sales went down by 40%, to 908.48 thousand ounces valued at $23.46 million, down by 17.4%, despite an average growth of price by 37.6%, to $25.82 per ounce. (Ukrainian metal)
