In April-June, 281.2 thousand people were employed in the mining industry and the development of quarries, up by 1.7% YoY.
In Q2 2020, the number decreased by 0.6%, to 276.4 thousand people.
Karaganda region increased employment by 2.6%, to 56.8 thousand people. Aktyubinsk region had 41.3 thousand and Mangistau – 39.5 thousand.
Average wages amounted to 461.8 thousand tenge, up by 4.1%. (Ukrainian metal)
