In 2020 Balakovo Iron and Steel Works intends to reach its design capacity – 1 million tons of metal per year.
Since the emergence of new owners, over 200 jobs have been created.
Now the company employs 1220 people with the average salary of 62 thousand rubles.
The shareholders plan to develop infrastructure by creating a transport company and constructing the second line to produce channels, flanged beams and rails. This will create 1 thousand more jobs. (Ukrainian metal)
