Russia: 55 billion rubles needed to develop Tomtor

TriArc Mining is preparing to start operation at the Tomtorskoye deposit and construction of a mining and processing works in Krasnokamensk.

Investments in the development of the rare-earth metals deposit in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will exceed 55 billion rubles.

So far the company has invested some 4 billion rubles.

The capacity of the Krasnokamensk GOK will be 160 thousand tons per year. The company intends to produce 10 thousand tons of niobium pentaoxide, up to 3.5 thousand tons of neodymium oxide and 2.5 thousand tons of medium-heavy group oxides per year.

The commission of the works is scheduled for 2025. (Ukrainian metal)
