The head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and president of the Russkie titanoviye resursy group of companies Anatoliy Tkachuk have signed an agreement to construct a vertically integrated mining and metallurgical works to process titanium ores and quartz sands of the Pizhemskoye deposit.
Until 2021 Rustitan will perform prospecting work at the deposit, until 2023 – prepare the design documentation and until 2025 will construct a manufacturing complex.
The Pizhemskoye deposit has the largest reserves of titanium and quartz raw materials in Russia. (Ukrainian metal)
