In 2019 Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased rolled metal output by 15% YoY, to 3.337 million tons.
Steel manufacture grew by 10%, to 3.562 million tons.
At the same time, pig iron output dropped by 1%, to 4.451 million tons.
In December 2019 Mariupol Ilyich produced 230 thousand tons of rolled metal, 280 thousand tons of steel and 344 thousand tons of pig iron, all up from 211 thousand tons, 210 thousand tons and 330 thousand tons in November 2019 respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
