In 2019 Zaporizhstal increased metal transportation by river by 36% YoY, to 905 thousand tons.
The metal was shipped via the Zaporozhye River Port.
The coastal trade contributed the most to the growth.
Some 240 thousand tons were shipped to the seaports of Chernomorsk and Odessa. Previously metal to these destinations was transported by railroad. (Ukrainian metal)
