In November Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works shipped 1-millonth ton of R65 rails to Russian Railroads.
ChMK has been supplying RZD with rails since 2016. Most of the rails are 100-meters long.
So far RZD has constructed 7.5 thousand km of railroad using ChMK rails.
“RZD is the main ChMK rails consumer. The company share is 80%”, ChMK sales director Vadim Shalygin reported.
Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works is one of the two companies in Russia capable of producing 100-meter rails. (Ukrainian metal)
