The delegation of Asha Iron and Steel Works has visited Zlatoust Electrometallurgical Works.
The goal of the visit was to strengthen existing cooperation.
The visitors inspected the hammer shop and the rolling shop No. 1, as well as witnessed the manufacture of slabs with the height of 45 mm and width of 600 mm of heat-resistant and stainless steels.
The company mastered the manufacture of strips with the size of 45×530 mm in late March. The strip was made at the mill-1150. The technological cycle of the manufacture is only 10 days.
“The mastering of the strip manufacture allowed us improving our positions in this market segment, providing a wider range of customers with the quality products and increasing the number of orders”, the company sales director Alevtina Nazmieyva said.
The decrease in the slab billet manufacture time has been positively assessed at the Asha Iron and Steel Works.
Following the visit the companies have agreed to continue cooperation. (Ukrainian metal)
