Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Works, a part of Metalloinvest, has produced the 40-millionth ton of hot-briquetted iron.
It took the plant 20 years to reach the milestone.
Metalloinvest occupies over 50% of the global HBI market. In 2018 it sold 4.5 million tons of the product. (Ukrainian metal)
