Copper producer Uralelectromed, a part of Russia’s Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC), does not rule out branching out to the domestic market of steel structures, the company said in a statement on August 16.
“Currently, the company’s production satisfies demand of other UMMC companies. But we may enter the Russian market and occupy a certain niche, as capacities of our plant allow us to produce up to 9,000 steel structures per year,” the company said quoting Andrei Myslyayev, head of the steel structure division.
The company is finishing construction of a second steel structures line, which will produce more than 300 tons of welded grill floorings. This would allow the plant to provide the entire range of services in production of metal structures from assembly operations to zinc-coating of metal products of all sizes. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
