Russian Copper Company, the initiator of the Tomino Mining and Processing Works construction in Chelyabisnk region, intends to discuss the project corrections with the local dwellers.
On August 5 the company will present the results of the assessment of the GOK environment impact. One of the leaders of the StopGOK movement Vsailiy Moskovets claims that RCC plans to use heap leaching at the works.
“Russian Copper Company has decided not to use hydrometallurgy at the Tomino GOK and does not plan to return to this technique in the future. The meeting will be dedicated to the mining and transport parts of the project,” RCC PR department director Dmitriy Fedechkin declared. (Ukrainian metal)
