In 2018 metal industry demonstrated a profit of 689.6 million UAH as opposed to 9.8 billion UAH of losses in 2017.
According to the State Statistics Service, 76.8% of enterprises received a profit of 34.5 billion UAH, with 23.2% having loses of 33.8 billion UAH.
The metal industry profit constituted just 0.6% of the entire Ukrainian industry.
EBITDA was 6.45 billion UAH as opposed to the losses of 5.9 billion UAH in 2017. The share in the overall financial result was 4%. (Ukrainian metal)
