Ukraine: DMZ invests 329 million UAH in environment programs

Since 2016 Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works has invested 329 million UAH in environment-protection measures.

As a result, air pollution decreased by 25%.

According to DCH, the owner of the plant, this is the best result among Ukrainian metal companies.

The company employs some 4.5 thousand people, with 80% of them living nearby.

In 2018 DMZ repaired its blast furnace No. 3, and investments reached 320 million UAH. This year the company plans to repair BF2. (Ukrainian metal)
