In January-April, Ukraine exported 2.383 million tons of carbon steel semi-finished products valued at $990.036 million, up by 5.3%, but down by 5.4% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main customers were Italy (30.61%), Egypt (17.41%) and Algeria (8.42%).
In 4 months Ukraine imported 25.458 thousand tons of steel semis valued at $14.887 million, up by 58.6% and by 56.4% respectively.
The suppliers were Russia (99.68%) and China (0.32%). (Ukrainian metal)
