Taganrog Iron and Steel Works has mastered the non-stop changes of the tundish ladles at the site of the continuous casting of 400-mm diameter steel billets.
This has allowed increasing daily output by 10%.
Tagmet has been using the continuous casting technique since 2006. In 2013 it started implementing non-stop switching tundish ladles. Previously this method has been implemented for billets with the diameters of 150, 210, 250 and 300 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
