Chelyabinsk Zinc Works has put into operation new machinery in the hydrometallurgical shop.
The machine is used to filtrate flotation products and zinc cake underflow.
The filter-press was supplied by Fraccaroli & Balzan, Italy.
The hydrometallurgical shop now operates 11 filter-presses.
The capacity of the new machine is 40 dry metric tons of cake per day. (Ukrainian metal)
