Last year Severstal produced some 12 million tons of steel.
Mill-2000 accounted for over 6 million tons.
Previously Severstal was able to reach such a record in 1980s.
“We have set a task for ourselves – the share of new products in our portfolio has to be 30% by 2023. Now it’s just 5%. For this we have to change our manufacturing process”, Severstal CEO Alexander Shevelev said. (Ukrainian metal)
