The Irkutsk industrial company MetalActivgroup has modernized its manufacturing capacities and increased metallized pellets and DRI output.
This is the only enterprise in Russia to produce metallized pellets and DRI of magnetite ore using coal.
In 2018 the company attracted a loan of 28 million rubles to buy machinery. 12 million rubles were provided by the Fund of the Irkutsk region industry development.
The total cost of the project is 85 million rubles.
Modernization allowed increasing the crushing and processing line capacity by 25%.
Iron content now reaches 84%. (Ukrainian metal)
